At Silver Software, a CMMI Level 5 and an ISO 9001-2000 organisation, the challenging nature of the work requires that Silver Software only accept the very best candidates. In return Silver Software offers one of the best work environments in the software industry and unlimited career growth capped only by an individual's ability and motivation. The work is spread between the offices located in UK, India and Spain.

Key HR policies are summarised below:

Career Development

o In Silver Software we provide our staff with an extensive scope for growth within the company. This is done through various development appraisals focusing on their job description, skill gap analysis, training needs and job rotation. Lateral movement across departments is also encouraged whenever there is a requirement and matching interest.

Performance Recognition

o Performance Appraisal and Recognition is a key HR mechanism whereby twice a year, each and every staff member’s performance is appraised against KPI (Key Performance Indicator) based objectives. Such assessments form key criteria for recognition in terms of promotion, financial reward etc.

Loyalty Recognition

o Silver Software acknowledges the dynamic nature of the industry and hence recognises and rewards its staff members who have shown loyalty towards the organisation in terms of long tenure of employment.

o Systematic and regular communication is a key element in creating a sense of belonging in our organisation. Communication occurs at three levels; i.e. organisational, departmental and team levels, to ensure that the employee is kept abreast with the latest Silver Software news.

Work-Life Balance

o The workplace constitutes a large part in the average person’s life. In recognition of this the Silver Club focuses on creating a work-life balance within the organisation through planning, coordinating and implementing various company outings, bi-monthly newsletter, competitions, seminars, etc.
