Silver Software has been appraised at Level 5 maturity of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Version 1.1 across its development centers in India and UK after rigorous and independent appraisal by SEI authorized Lead Appraiser.
Silver Software is the first European company enterprise-wide appraised at CMMI L5.

Silver Software has consistently demonstrated enterprise-wide high process maturity starting with its ISO 9001 certification in 2001 and CMMI L4 appraisal in 2003. The focus at Silver Software is to ensure that a highly reliable product with a missionary zeal is provided to the client. This is achieved by adopting standards and models like CMMI, ISO 9001:2000,DO-178B and CENELEC 50128.

Silver Software, at maturity level 5, focuses on continually improving process performance through incremental and innovative process and technological improvements. Different sub groups (Technology Excellence Group, Process Exccellence Group, Causal Analysis Group and Measurement Analysis Group) of Software Engineering Process Group support these innovations and improvements. Quantitative process improvement objectives are established and revised on need basis to reflect changing business needs. Causal Analysis and Resolution activities are planned and conducted both at project and organization level to identify root causes of defects and problems. The effects of deployed process and technological improvements are measured and evaluated against the process improvement objectives. All these activities have resulted in increased productivity, reduced defects and timely delivery.
